About
After obtaining a BA degree in political science and English from Martin-Luther-University Halle-Wittenberg, I decided to specialize in languages. I did not have to look far as Leipzig – only 40 km from Halle – is home to the Institute of Applied Linguistics and Translatology (IALT). As a member CIUTI and the network European Master’s in Translation, the IALT stands for excellence in translation education. After spending an exchange semester at Geneva University and writing a thesis on software localization, I graduated with an MA in translation for the German/English and German/French language pairs in 2016, followed by an MA in conference interpreting (German/English) in early 2026.
I started working in the German/English language pair in 2017, mostly with texts from the IT (technical documentation, UI) and legal (contracts) fields.
In early 2025 I moved to Bremen.
